K-Stays came about because of our close contact with law enforcement and the military. The necessity for coming up with K-Stays came from a former marine and current law enforcement officer. The shirt-stays that were on the market at the time wore out more quickly and would come undone at inconvenient times. When using the restroom the wearer would almost have to undress to disconnect and reconnect the shirt stay. Our family got together, he listed the problems, and the K-Stays were born.
